Manuka launches its 2024 Sustainability Report

Manuka, responsible for producing nearly 10% of the country’s milk, presents its 2024 Sustainability Report, highlighting achievements during the 2023-2024 season. Now in its sixth edition, this report reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability, animal welfare, and innovation across the value chain.

During this period, the company strengthened its financial stability through a historic syndicated loan, bolstering its market position and paving the way for future growth.

The report also underscores Manuka’s commitment to responsible practices, supported by the renewal of various certifications. Among the most notable initiatives is a partnership with Virutex, which enabled the recycling of over 340 tons of agricultural plastic.

On the people front, a cultural shift focused primarily on improving and modernizing leadership has been essential. Equally important are the opportunities for employee development within the company. “We have declared a new way of living at Manuka, which plays a significant role in decision-making, how things are done, and how we interact with our stakeholders,” highlights Aniriam Manríquez, People and Corporate Affairs Manager.

“As we approach 20 years of Manuka operating in Chile, we can reflect on the hard work and effort put forth over the years by different teams. We believe we are in a phase of consolidating several projects, aiming to ensure their continued growth and development to take the business to the next level, where sustainability is an integral part of this journey,” states Moisés Saravia, General Manager of Manuka.
