Our model is inspired by the New Zealand permanent pasture system: we manage and measure grass so that cows feed at its maximum nutritional value. This way we obtain high-quality milk, produced sustainably and destined for subsequent industrialization and sale.
Animal welfare, throughout the entire life cycle, is essential for sustainable food production. At Manuka we hold the international Certified Humane® certification in Animal Welfare and Grass Fed, which validates respectful management of our cows and cattle in general, and supports responsible management of reproduction, nutrition, health, and production processes.
At Manuka we produce milk with high standards of nutritional quality and safety, contributing to the nutrition of thousands of families in Chile. To ensure this, we apply strict protocols at every stage of the process, rigorously manage animal traceability, and maintain preventive vaccination programs and health surveillance.
